Happy belated birthday!

..to YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor. Semoga panjang umur dan murah rezeki!

I would have missed it if it wasn’t because of the full page advertisement in The Star last Thursday:

I believe this is a first in history.

Will wait for the billboard advertisements to come up soon🙂

  1. JMD,

Tak pernah dalam sejarah kita seorang isteri Perdana Menteri diiklankan harijadinya semuka penuh di akhbar. Bahkan tak pernah juga mana-mana DYMM Sultanah mahupun DYMM Raja Permaisuri Agong (our true First Lady) diiklankan akan harijadi baginda “with all the fanfare and pomp”. Ini mesti ada pepperoni di sebalik pizza.

  2. JMD,

Yes indeed it must be first time in history and it was also first time in history a former prime minister of a neighbouring country took his precious time off to spend a few hours “to exchange views and ideas” with Rosmah, alone. And mind you this ex-PM is known to be “unfriendly” to ladies and why that special treatment to Rosmah?

What say you ada apa2 yang tersirat dan yang tersurat?

JMD : Thank you for the comment. There probably is..🙂

tak kan najib ni tak tau keadaan politik negara sekarang? seperti menatang minyak yang penuh? full of thorns and sensitivities?

siapa yang buat poster tu hari jadi tu? bisnes man yang mana?

    hancur lah kalau macam ni……

  5. I have a few questions:

    1. Did Rosmah put up these people to advertise for her birthday?

    2. Did these people themselves advertise to attract Rosmah’s attention, so that they could ‘gain’ some grounds in her good books?

    3. Why is it important these people gain grounds to be in Rosmah’s good books, in that manner?

    4. Does Rosmah have ‘invisible powers’ that people willing to take up a large advertisement like that?

    5. Why are we even talking about this advertisement..?????

JMD : Answer #5, so that we could get all the first 4 questions from you…:) Thank you for the comment.

  6. Sdr JMD,

  7. Well Jebat it’s funny you borught up the issue of race. Tun Mahathir is half indian. His grandfather was an Indian Muslim who came here with his son Mohammad Iskandar. He later would marry a Malay wife as the customary of Indian Merchant then. An eg of Indian Merchant family in Penang is the family of Barkath Store. Datuk Ali Backer Mom is Indian while his half brother Datuk Nur Muhammad is half indian(his mom was malay).

Proving that fact is difficult unless i have ascess to NRD files! But I would like you to refer to the book written by Ahmad Mustapha Hassan the nephew of Tun (he is the son of Tun sister) the Unmaking of Malaysia.

In the History channel it mention that Mohammad Iskandar marry twice the first wife was Indian (although her race was not mention) the second was Wan Tempayan, Tun’s Mom.

I have to rely on the admission form in King Edward’s college of Tun that shows under race he is catagorize as Indian.

But as i said under the constituition he is a Malay so i leave it at that!
